Bought this rifle as a lightweight coyote rifle. I was not disappointed. The first load I tried I got a .8 inch group. I shot six groups over the course of getting the scope just like I wanted it. All averaged around .75 inch. I'm tickled. With a Redfield revolution 2-7x33 it comes in under 7 lbs.

This gun is very lightweight and compact, making it an excellent stalking gun. It has classic Savage quality, and I can consistently get one inch groups, and have hopes of reducing that further - perhaps to 3/4 inch. Bud's made it easy to purchase online, and their inclusion of a list of licensed dealers to complete the transfer was VERY helpful. I will definitely consider them for my next fire arm purchase.
