Overall, very happy...
Overall, very happy with the Savage Rascal. I consider it to be a good rifle to teach marksmanship principles. The trigger is very good for a beginner and it is the thing that made me buy a second Rascal. It's light, has decent iron sights, and extracts well. The only thing that was less than perfect was the gator camo. It has a slight offset. Not sure how to describe it, but it just doesn't look crisp. It looks as if it was down twice, slightly off from one another.
