I could haul this gun...
I could haul this gun around with me all day every day. I have an AR, PCC blowback, pistols, revolver, bolt action boomstick, and this is the only one that is 100% no work to shoot. I am going to buy a cabin in Tennessee just to sit on the porch with it across my lap. The furniture got compliments at the FFL dealer. Slick but not overbearing aesthetics and no "kitchen cabinet" monochrome finish. Nicely checkered pistol grip. 100 rounds out of the box at the range. One jam due to my too-slow cycling. 2" groups at 50 yds with literally your granddad's iron sights, which I plan to keep out of principle. You really have to seat the front sight in the rear sight otherwise you will shoot high. Did not need windage adjustment and shot very true. Comfy trigger with minimal uptake. The gun and its .22 WMR caliber feels nice and substantial with heft that you won't get in .22 LR. The crisp "pchew" report is addictive. Well done Savage. Four stars due to the primitive sights but keeps it at this price point.
