I bought this rifle...
I bought this rifle two years ago because it was so cheap and I needed a backup if I fell or dropped my rifle and broke something(scope or stock). It came and looks not unlike a $700.00 rifle with a blued action and barrel with the black fake stock. The trigger was really out of whack so I took it to my gunsmith, paid my $42.00 and I was off to the range. The recoil pad was hard rubber so I bought an offbreed softer pad and installed. A buddy gave a set of mounts and I bought a well used Leupold 4x scope on Ebay. I sent the scope to Leupold for a tune-up and had them install the Leupold Dot. I bore sighted it on the ironing board on a real esate sign about 200 yards off. On the range it took me 6 shots @37 yards to "0" it and have shot it over the past 2 years over 200 rounds. It shoots better than I can. I had a sharpshooter buddy shoot it at 100 yards. Three shot group that we could almost cover with a nickel. It is now my favorite and my Remington 700 SS SPS stays in the closet. John
