This is a very accurate rifle. It shoots .50 MOA with Nosler 140 grain ballistic tip ammo.The action is kind of stiff, but it loosens up after working it awhile. It's a little on the heavy side, but it's a proven deer killer.

Gun would not fire, it...
Gun would not fire, it would click and leave a light primer strike. Ammo was fine as it was used in another rifle and performed flawlessly. Savage customer service was of little to know help. Took it to a gunsmith who thought he fixed it but hadn't. Ended up selling it dirt cheap to my buddy who is adamant he can get it working.
