I give this rifle a five star rating. It is a great Savage rifle. Has all the great Savage qualities. Bought it for my Step daughter and it fits her perfectly. What more can I say?, It's a Savage, it speaks for itself. I would recommend this to anyone small in stature or a youth. .243 knocks down any deer.

Bought this for my wifeâ�¦.It fits her perfectlyâ�¦.A little more recoil than I had expectedâ�¦But that was shooting from a bench with some 100 grain Winchester deer and antelope ammoâ�¦The scope was loose and not boresighted very well due to thatâ�¦A savage boo boo I expect...It loosened and slid back as I was trying to sight it in for herâ�¦I would recommend checking that should you purchase the packageâ�¦.Outside of that it arrived in a timely fashion and I am happy with the rifleâ�¦.I am going to get her a limbsaver and a box of hornady low recoil ammo for her range work (she has rotator cuff issues)â�¦She'll never feel the recoil huntingâ�¦..She got a 5 pointer with a 270 a few years backâ�¦.With a Savage and Buds you can't go wrongâ�
