First off, let me say...
First off, let me say that @ $255, this is a fine value. However, there are some issues with this rifle that preclude it from getting a 5-star rating. First of all, the trigger pull is horrendous at six pounds. Easily fixable, with mods costing zero dollars, to $100 replacement trigger groups. Secondly, the cheap plastic safety button rattles on the pot-metal slide grooves. This was mitigated by some heavy grease forced into the grooves. Last, but most annoying, is the magazine fit. I know of no way to correct this, outside of a factory reconfiguration. It is possible to insert the box mag into the rifle in such a way as to make its removal nearly impossible without tools- and running the risk of damaging the magazine release, and/or the rifle itself.. One must take extra care in inserting the magazine carefully to avoid jamming. Hopefully, some manufacturer will offer aftermarket mags (higher capacity?) with a better fit. Personally, I feel that at this price point, and with a little ingenuity, this makes for a fine rifle value.
