i ordered this rifle a...
i ordered this rifle a while back and used buds lay-away plan. i was not expecting it to be much due to its low price. i was looking for an inexpensive but still reasonable accurate deer rifle to lug around in foul conditions. the rifle looks much better IRL that it does on a website. it is very light and easy handling., accurate and quick pointing. the scope is clear and reasonably bright. the odd shaped stock actually handles quite well. the bolt actio0n is as slick and smooth. the trigger ain't no accu-trigger but it is very crisp and mine was about 5lbs of pull out of the box. after i fired a few rounds the trigger lightened up some and is now around 4.2lbs pull. i don't think i'll bother tuning up the trigger as i am hitting everything i am aiming at! haven't tested it for groups yet @ 100 yards, but i suspect it will do very well. it has pretty brisk recoil with heavy loads though noting harsh since it has a built in rubber recoil pad. so far it looks to be a very well rounded hunting package for a very good price. the only thing about it don't like is the mag--it has a built in plastic catch that looks flimsy. hopefully somebody will make some better mags for this rifle one day. very happy with ever other feature of this rifle though.
