I have built several...
I have built several rifles using Seekins lower AR style receivers and have been completely satisfied with the quality. As for the Seekins Precision Havak Element Hunter M3 in 6.5 Creedmoor, still evaluating. Mostly the finish is excellent however there are some blemishes with carbon fiber stock and small receiver dings in coating. The bolt is smooth when being cycled by itself however when inserting a round in the chamber, that's a different story. I can't tell if it's the CF magazine or feed ramp leading up to the barrel. The first round most always does not feed easily and catches before inserting into barrel, the remaining two rounds tend to feed slightly better. When retracting the bolt, it appears to drag slightly if the pulling bolt knob, cycles smoother when pulling bolt handle. I have two older Tikka T3's 308 and 243 that feed flawlessly, smoothly and at the time of purchase were both under $600.00 each. For the cost of the Seekins I expected equal or even better than the current Tikka T3 models. The Seekins rifle appears to shoot straight, and recoil is good considering the weight. I need more time with the weapon however slightly concerned with the action cycle and CF magazine. I have not reached out to Seekins Customer Service at this point.
