The SIG Sauer 516-MOHAWK is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a short-stroke piston operating system and adjustable gas system. Its 16-inch cold hammer forged steel barrel uses a 1:7 twist rate and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle with a SIG flash hider-compensator. A free-floating M-LOK handguard, Picatinny top rail, non-reciprocating rear and side charging handles, and fully ambidextrous controls support versatile handling and accessory configuration. The rifle includes a six-position Magpul DT stock, AR-compatible reduced-angle grip, and SIG Matchlite DUO curved trigger. It ships with one 30-round polymer magazine.
