The 716 DMR is a...
The 716 DMR is a fantastic rifle. Its my first 6.5 Creedmoor and my first AR10. I've shot 60 rounds with zero issues. The recoil is very light. I use Hornady 147 grn match ammo. The advertised velocity is 2695 fps. I'm getting 2500 fps, ( B.C. was .705 ) out of the 18 inch barrel. I zeroed at 100 yards. I was just under 1 inch, 3 shot strings. I was 4 out of 5 on a 14 x 14 steel plate on a very windy day. at 750 yards. The scope I'm using is a temporary and I didn't want to waste my ammo trying further targets. My ballistic calculator says I'm super sonic to a little over 1600 yards, with this ammo, great for an 18 inch barrel. I would highly recommend this rifle.
