Let me start by saying I have 12 of these reviews to do. 7 of them are firearms, so go me! Woot!\r Now to the M400 platform from Sig. I have added a Burris 556 to it. It came with Magpul flip ups. I run Magpul Gen2 and Gen 3 windowed Freedom seed holders. It will eat any production .223 or 556 ammunition I have found. No failures with over 1000 rounds. My Marine Or FMF corpsman son cleans it, so I try to shoot the Russian stuff when they are around. Up to 75 gr. It is 1:7 so it spins them up nicely.\r The rifle is wonderful. I even like the milspec trigger. Seems familiar.\r If you ever get a chance again to get one of these buy it. I have 2.\r

The Sig M400 in OD...
The Sig M400 in OD green has been on my list for quite a while now and thanks to Buds layaway options I was able to pick up the last one they had in OD green. In the end I paid a little bit over $200 dollars more for the rifle than it was originally listed but I'm extremely happy with my purchase. I could have got this rifle in black or even the M400 elite titanium model for a lot a cheaper but I really wanted the OD green model as pictured in this listing. I love this color and will mostly be keeping this rifle in it's stock configuration! This is the version without the A2 front sight and it comes with front and rear polymer Magpul flip up BUIS. Which is my only complaint because the front sight sits directly above the gas block. I'm not willing to find out if these sights will melt onto the gas block if it gets too hot so I will be replacing them asap. This wasn't a deal breaker because I prefer using Troy HK iron sights on my rifles and was planning on replacing them anyways. If I could do it all again I would buy the black M400 or the elite version since Bud's is selling those for a lot cheaper than what I paid for this OD green model. I could have just picked up the M400 in black and bought the Magpul OD green parts separately. Overall I'm still happy I snagged the last one! Thanks Buds!!!
