Awesome rifle, great...
Awesome rifle, great price and even better with the $300 SIG rebate! Form, fit and finish all are A+ and is a well made rifle. I added an aimpoint Comp ML3 and a Surefire M900A vertical grip/weapon light. Good service and fast shipping from Buds! Thanks!

Highly accurate and...
Highly accurate and reliable if a bit on the heavy side. Bought it through Buds in June of 2007. Since then I've had over 500 rounds through it including PMC Bronze 55 gr. FMJ-BT, American Eagle 55gr. FMJ-BT, Prvi Partizan 75 gr. BTHP and American Eagle XM193 and it ate through every bit of it without a hiccup. Had it scoped with a EoTech 552 and 3x magnifier and later a Mueller 4-16x50 Tac II mil-dot. Pros: #1 Never had a malfunction of any kind and it chambered and extracted everything that I put through it perfectly. #2 Loved the heavier weight bullets (62 gr. and up and especially the 75 Prvi stuff) for accuracy. Good scope + good ammo + a steady hand and this was a sub-MOA rifle. I had a more than a few ½ inch 3-shot groups on occasion and I'm a pretty average shooter, but the lighter bullets (55 gr. and under) would group between 1 and ½ and 3 inches. I'd certainly attribute this to it having a 1:7 inch twist rate. #3 The extra weight reduced felt recoil as compared to lighter black rifles and made extended bench shooting rather pleasant. #4 Two-stage trigger was excellent. Cons: #1 Seemed very heavy as compared to a Sportical (I just picked up a pair of them). That extra pound and a half (compared to the feathery-light DPMS) seemed like a lot, though if you're use to a nearly 8 lb. rifle then this wouldn't bother you at all. #2Mine was one of the earliest ones out and the fit was good, but the finish had something left to be desired. After spend some time in a relatively humid environment it started to rust in specific individual spots including the safety, flash suppressor and stock. I've heard (and seen) that the newer ones have a better finish on them. #3Not much room for your finger between the EoTech (which is pretty wide) and the charging handle. Other scope was fine though and that issue can be remedied with an after market part. Bottom line: Very reliable and accurate, but a little heavy IMHO. Worth the price? Only if you can afford it :)

Just bought this rifle...
Just bought this rifle last week and took it out yesterday. it's extremely accurate at 50 yards with iron sights, but at 100yards, the front sight is too fat and makes it difficult to align the shots on the target. Would have given it 5 stars but thats' the only issue. The recoil is very well balanced and makes it easier to get ready for the next shot. And unlike the ar-15, the cartridges fly up and forward instead of flying right out to the side at 500 mph. It's also very comfortable to shoot. The price on this gun is worth it.
