This rifle needs no review. Its boom stick power is to that of all star Kenny Powers throwing stripes down the middle with absolute precision. Sig should just adopt the epic Will Farrell quote of "if you're not first you're last."

First impressions I...
First impressions I own the other Sig Sauer 716DMR so how does this compare well the trigger on the patrol as other have stated is junk. It functions very stiff and has a hard pull even after putting threw 200 rounds. The DMRs' trigger is match grade with a nice clean brake and a short reset. The stock is just plain five position plastic and also needs replacement the one on the DMR is a MagPul PRS it's not adjustable however you can adjust the cheek height and length of pull on the DMR the Patrol not. They both have a 1in10 twist so both will stabilize the largest of bullet weights. The patrol has a 16 inch barrel which I believe to be a heavy barrel. The DMR is an 18inch heavy barrel. The other differences the DMR is standard rail The patrol is a key mod which I don't care for but that's me. The accuracy of each rifle actually seemed to be about even at 100 yards on a bench rest I was able to get 1/4 Kia from both however I did replace the trigger on the patrol to the SSA-E The patrol seems to prefer the 175grain Serria Match King. The DMR I will be using for long range competitions so I have shot this to 600yrds with 175 Lapua Senar-L which yeilded a respectable 1moa. I would say both rifles perform equally well however if I was to spend the money again the better value is definitely the Sig Sauer 716DMR I don't have the G2 so I can't speak for that rifle. I hope this helps.
