The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 is a modern lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Govt. and built around a forged 416 stainless steel receiver. Its 20-inch barrel uses a 1:20-inch right-hand twist and features an 11/16-24 threaded muzzle with a thread protector. The black synthetic stock has textured grip panels, while the large loop lever provides ample clearance for cycling with gloved hands. An adjustable XS ghost ring rear sight and gold bead front sight support fast target acquisition, and the Picatinny-style top rail provides a secure mounting point for an optic. M-LOK slots on the forend add flexibility for mounting compatible accessories.
