A: Donald, functionality, durability, features will be very similar for these two rifles. It will boil down to which you feel will be the best ergonomically. A comfortable firearm is usually one that you will shoot quicker and more accurately. For me the choice would be the S&W M&P15. You will have tons more upgrade options on the AR Platform than the ARX.

A: I would say M&P since Colt has started using less expensive components on the LE6920 lately. They are both fine rifles but the Colt LE6920 used to be the standard by which other AR carbines were judged.
