The Smith & Wesson M&P15 VTAC is a semi-automatic, gas-operated rifle built around a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum flat-top receiver and a 16-inch 4140 steel barrel. Its chrome-lined bore, chamber, bolt, and bolt carrier support durability, while the 1:7 twist is suited to a broad range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington bullet weights. A VLTOR ModStock six-position collapsible stock, VTAC and JP handguard, JP single-stage match trigger, SureFire flash hider, and integrated light package provide a capable platform for training, competition, and practical rifle use.
