Purchasing this M1A...
Purchasing this M1A has brought back many memories of my time in the Marine Corps. The M-14 was the weapon I "qualified" with and was, in fact, the weapon initially assigned to me upon my tour(s) in Vietnam. The M1A Socom is actually the same weapon but with much LESS recoil... and for me, even more accurate even though I did fire Expert on the Rifle Range with the M-14. This M1A Socom has a 16 inch barrel and with the less "kick," makes for a great day at the range... and I plan for it to be a great deer hunting season this next Fall. It's everything the advertisement says it is...... plus enjoyment!
