The Springfield Armory M1A SOCOM 16 is a compact semi-automatic rifle chambered for 7.62x51 NATO and .308 Win. Its 16.25-inch Parkerized carbon steel barrel and proprietary muzzle brake provide a maneuverable platform while helping reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The Flat Dark Earth composite stock gives the rifle a durable field-ready configuration. An XS front post with tritium insert and an enlarged military aperture rear sight support rapid target acquisition, while the forward scout-style Picatinny mount allows compatible optics to be added.
