The Springfield Armory SAINT Edge is a lightweight 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around upgraded components and a free-float M-Lok handguard. The mid-length gas system uses a pinned adjustable gas block to support reliable cycling. A crisp Melonite-treated GI single-stage trigger provides a short reset, while the billet 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver is tension-bonded to a forged optics-ready upper receiver. Flip-up dual-aperture rear sights and an adjustable flip-down front sight provide a complete backup sighting system, while the flat-top receiver supports the addition of an optic.
