A: according to springfield it is a muzzle brake not a flash suppressor which means the only banned feature is a threaded barrel (needs two to be banned) makes it legal in NJ springfield-armory.com/saint-series/saint-victor-ar-15-rifles/saint-victor-308-ar-10-rifle-ca-compliant I still suggest that you double check this with your local FFL

A: Hi Jacob, yes, this is NJ compliant. (although the SA web site says this is not NJ compliant) It does not have a flash hider, it has a muzzle brake. You are allowed 1 'Evil' feature, which is usually the pistol grip. In this case, with the CA fin grip, your one evil feature would be the threaded barrel.
