This is my first ar15...
This is my first ar15 rifle and I must say it's a dandy of a weapon. Mounted a minox zv3-40mm scope on it and achieved sub moa groups at 100yds. No malfunctions at all with easy disassembly for cleaning. Only got to hunt with it one day before season was out but on a 100 pd doe at 175yds it was bang flop. 120 gr. SST Ammo performed great. Late that evening 60 yds took a coyote hit up the rump and half his head came off when it exited the front. If want a serious ar15 for hunting don't pay big bucks for those hard kicking and bulky ar10 as this weapon is all you will need. Buds service and shipping was great all so.

I bought this gun to...
I bought this gun to replace my remington 22-250. I own five ar's from Bushmaster, core, smith and Dpms. This stag is by far my favorite. Between my daughter and I we took down five good size white tail last year with it. Stag makes a great gun with free floated handguard, hogue grip and excellent trigger pull. The ammo is high ranging from 16-30 per 20 rd box. But we dont use it for a plinker. Great gun
