The Stag Arms Model 3 Plus Package is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a forged aluminum upper receiver and a 16-inch chrome-lined 4150 steel barrel. Its flat-top configuration and Versa-rail handguard provide a practical foundation for adding an optic and other accessories. The rifle features 1:7 twist rifling, M4 feed ramps, an M16 bolt carrier, and a heavy buffer assembly. A six-position collapsible stock allows the length of pull to be adjusted, while the package includes two 30-round USGI magazines, a plastic case, and a manual.

Purchased the rifle...
Purchased the rifle back in September, I cleaned it upon receipt then put it away 'til deer and elk season were finished. Have just finally been able to get it out to the range, and I tell you what, I really like this rifle! Put about 200 rounds through it, both 55g and 62g, 5.56mm with no issues at all. Fit and finish is excellent, and the performance is superb! If you like single point slings, it already has a receiver end plate that has ambidextrous snap hook or quick clip sling attachment. Installed a Pro-Mag flip-up gas block front sight and Vortex StrikeFire co-witness red/green dot which makes it a nice looking firearm with excellent performance at a price that won't break the pocket book! Has Diamondhead VRS drop in modular handguard and a picatinny rail on the upper receiver. Has a 6 position butt stock and the Mil-spec single stage trigger has an excellent, smooth trigger pull. The additional $$ for the plus package over the standard A3 model I think is well worth it. The plus package includes: M16 bolt carrier, extra USGI 30 round Mag (total 2 mags), 4150 barrel steel Chrome lined with 1/7 twist rifling, heavy buffer assembly, Magnetic Particle (MP) & High Pressure (HP) testing of the bolt and barrel, and has M4 feed ramps. More than a reasonable price for mil spec weapon! Plus, Stag Arms has a lifetime warranty! Would I trust it in a firefight? Yes, absolutely I would. Will definitely be purchasing another Stag firearm, if all of their other products are like this one, they just got a customer for life. As for the shipping, what can I say, Buds was great, fast shipping to my FFL dealer, GI-Arms with no problems at all!
