This is a Great gun....
This is a Great gun. The barrel is a Stainless steel ER shaw barrel that shoots wonderfully. The geissele 3g trigger is very smooth and very crisp. The trigger pull is 4lbs. The samson evelution rail fits perfectly in your hand because it is thinner than most rails. For my own personal taste i switched out the buttstock and pistol grip and put on daniel defense furniture. I also added a St Croix BCG and a BCM gunfighter charging handle. I threw on a Vortex viper PST 1-4 × 24 scope and now this gun is one of my favs in my collection. This gun would be great for 3 gun competition. I highly recommend this gun and i would buy it again.

Great gun for its...
Great gun for its purpose-that being a 3G or USPSA competition rifle. The trigger is pretty much the standard for the industry. So far it runs with most ammo-from the steel cased cheap Russian Stuff to better quality 55 Grain brass cased stuff. The balance is very good. The Compensator works fairly well. I bought this rifle for my son who is starting 3G. He used another rifle in his first competition that we had some issues with and is switching to this one since on practice runs it was more reliable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality 3G rifle. The quality appears to be upper drawer for production rifles. The cost is reasonable and similar to the offerings other companies produce for 3G. And Stag has a good guarantee

The rife looks great...
The rife looks great and works even better as a paper weight. During the first cleaning I discovered the cam pin would not clear the bolt carrier key. A call to Stag Arms yielded an offer of 2 screws and a right handed shooters cam pin.
