Chambered for .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO, it combines a 23.6-inch barrel with a practical 4+1 capacity and a 45-inch overall length. Its Black Mannox finish provides a subdued, hard-wearing exterior, while the Steyr Safe Bolt System offers a three-position tang safety with a 2+1 safety function. The two-stage magazine securing mechanism can retain the magazine while allowing the bolt to operate without chambering rounds from the magazine, giving hunters additional flexibility when loading individual cartridges.
