The Taurus CTG29 CT-9 Carbine is a 9mm semi-automatic rifle designed to deliver the handling and easy aiming of a carbine with the light recoil and broad ammunition availability of the 9mm cartridge. Its blowback-operated, closed-bolt action uses a 16-inch barrel, while the aluminum upper receiver provides a rigid platform for the integral full-length Picatinny rail. A fixed hooded front sight and fully adjustable rear sight support dependable target acquisition. The polymer handguard accepts additional Picatinny rails for accessories, and the convertible charging handle can be configured for right- or left-handed operation. The carbine includes a 10-round magazine and a three-point nylon sling.
