The Taylor's & Company 1892 Alaskan Take-Down is a fast-handling lever-action rifle chambered in .45 Colt. Its 16-inch barrel and compact 34-inch overall length make it convenient to carry in the field, while the take-down design simplifies transport and storage. The steel receiver has a black finish, and the wood stock and forend feature a black rubber overmold for a secure, comfortable hold. A 7+1 internal tubular magazine provides useful hunting capacity. The rifle is equipped with a fiber optic front sight and a Picatinny rail combination rear peep sight for rapid target acquisition. Its action is tuned for use with Hornady LEVERevolution ammunition.
