Very pleased with the...
Very pleased with the accuracy of the T/C Venture. I have only shot hand loaded ammo, which I'm still in the process of perfecting. I normally shoot 5 shot groups which have produced ok results. I've only loaded SGK 150g bullets so far. Best 5 shot so far is 3 in one hole with overall 1.75'' total group. No 5 shot groups over 3" using, Varget,4064,4320 powders. Decent rifle for under $500. I did make some modifications to trigger, I.E. took some creep out & did some an unauthorized mod to trigger spring. The spring was adjusted as light as possible when shipped, but still a little too stiff for me. The bolt was very hard to open after firing, due to the 3 lug design and having to cock again after being fired. This is apparently characteristic, but seems to be getting better the more I use it. If you're not willing to deal with that one issue, buy something else. Other than that gun feels really good, not heavy at all, I think this is gonna make a good all weather hunter.
