Tikka T-3 Lite in...
Tikka T-3 Lite in 25-06 is a handy rifle much lighter than my Sako 998 in 25-06. The stock does feel hollow but it works well. No more felt recoil than the heavier Sako. Trigger is almost as good as the Sako. Both guns are accurate(and yes with factory and hand loads!) the thin barrel of the Tikka will heat up quickly with range work. I have a Leupold 2-7 mounted and am confident in this hunting package. Tikka makes a quality gun for a value price.

I found a new...
I found a new platform, The Tikka T3 Lite .25-06. Mine came with perfect fit and finish. It has a very solid receiver but the gun is well balanced. The trigger was a bit heavy but you know Lawyers I was afraid this was going to kick like a mule, but not so! The 25-06 is known to be a difficult caliber to tame, I fired a round cold bore. Swabbed it out, and was sighted in at 200 within 3 more rounds. All was well!! So I ran the rest of the box just having a blast! I'm out of practice but managed a ragged 12 inch group. Sort of pathetic, but you can feel a racehorse in there wanting to get out! .I look forward to trying some of my reloads from a previous .25-06. Bottom Line, Tikka has a new fan.

This gun is cheap to...
This gun is cheap to the touch and can not accurately shoot factory amo. Next time I will spent the extra money and buy a saga. I would not recommend a tikka to anyone.
