this gun is amazingly...
this gun is amazingly accurate out of the box!.with remington 130 gr i shot three 5 shot groups after sight in that averaged .62 at 100 yards.!!.Thank you Buds Gun Shop for a terrific deal on a great gun.the rating only goes up to good but this would have to be rated higher at excellent

I wanted a new .270...
I wanted a new .270 and decided to try the .270 WSM and I freakin loved it. The tikka uses the Sako barrels, which are priced much higher and are known for thier accuracy. I shot thumbnails at 200 yrds so I decided to test it in the field. A little skeptical of the knock down power I tested it on a decent sized black tail. He was quartering towards me at a steep up hill angle and lets just say when I hit the front shoulder I completely destroyed it. So I decided to take it last spring on a Black Bear hunt in Kake, and i took a good black bear with it no problem. The only things I can only say that I'd change is I don't like the bead blasted finish, on the Kake hunt I found that a week of solid straight rain and moisture left a little bit of surface rust where the stock meets the barrel, and also the action is a little rough but not as rough as a ruger.
