Description
Product Overview
The Tikka T3x Super Varmint is a precision-oriented bolt-action rifle designed for vermin control, target shooting, and demanding long-distance use. Its 24-inch heavy varmint barrel is treated with durable Tungsten Cerakote and features a 1:8 twist with a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle. The Roughtech synthetic stock combines an adjustable cheek piece with an asymmetrical grip pattern and a robust recoil pad, helping the shooter establish a consistent position behind an optic. A two-stage trigger provides a controlled trigger pull, while the widened angular ejection port makes single-cartridge loading easier.

I just came back from...
I just came back from my first range trip and could not be happier. I did a shoot and clean break in, then shot several brands and weights of ammo. Federal Gold Medal 73gr. Berger open tip match ammo and this rifle is already giving me 1/2" groups at 100 yards. The heavy barrel doesn't heat up quickly. The two stage trigger is great and the action smooth as butter. No issues at all. Great job by Bud's!

This rifle does not...
This rifle does not disappoint. Once I had my optic mounted, it was a matter of seconds later and my comb height was perfectly adjusted for eye alignment. The first 240 rounds have been stellar. 1/2" groups at 100y is nothing for the rifle, my best being a 3/16" using a front and rear bag. The rifle will flat out shoot. This is with factory 77gr SMK loads. I can only anticipate improvement once load development begins in earnest. Having the rifle just for a month or so, I wouldn't hesitate to instantly replace it. My .223 Super Varmint shoots lights out, is quiet as hell suppressed, just a really fine tool.
