The Troy Defense 5.56 Carbine is a reliable AR-pattern rifle built around forged upper and lower receivers with a flat-top upper, integrated M4 feed ramps, and a Troy Enhanced Trigger Guard. Its 16-inch chrome moly vanadium barrel features a Melonite finish, a 1:7 right-hand twist, and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle fitted with a Troy Medieval Flash Suppressor. A 13-inch Alpha free-float modular rail provides a stable mounting platform, while integrated Troy folding front and rear BattleSights deliver dependable aiming capability. The six-position BattleAx stock allows length-of-pull adjustment, and the rifle includes one 30-round Troy BattleMag.

I was very pleased...
I was very pleased with my service at Buds. I ordered my rifle and picked it up without a hitch. The rifle is put together well and is both aesthetically and functionally pleasing. It zeroed quickly and is consistent and accurate. I do wish that it would have came with some rail sections. The hand guard is awesome, I added some Troy Squid Grips to the rail for a nice feel. The BUIS were close to on out of the box, but I added a Aimpoint PRO just because. Overall I would recommend this rifle to anyone looking to buy a rifle that requires minimal change for tactical/home defense applications. I will probably change the trigger as the factory trigger is a little stiff and "creepy", but that is to be expected of most factory triggers.
