Received my Uberti...
Received my Uberti 1885 High Wall Single Shot Carbine in excellent condition, thanks Buds. The rifle is beautifully made almost a piece of art rather than a firearm. Barrel is heavy and well blued and the stock looks to have been finished with great care. The action is case hardened and functions smooth as butter. Have only fired cowboy loads so far but the rifle functioned perfectly and is reasonably accurate. Only negative I can give the rifle, and its a very minor one, is that a screw in the tang and one in the butt plate had burrs from manufacturing that had to be knocked down to make smooth. If your looking for a well made as well as beautiful single shot rifle the 1885 High Wall is one to look at.
