The Watchtower Firearms Type 15M Alpha is an American-made forged semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223 Wylde. It combines a forged T7075-6511 aluminum receiver set with a 16-inch 416R stainless steel barrel treated with a Black Nitride finish. The 13.7-inch S7M billet aluminum free-floating handguard supports accessory installation while helping preserve barrel consistency. Alpha upgrades include an ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous safety selector, graphite PVD-coated Durabolt bolt carrier group, and Hiperfire EDT2 Heavy Gunner trigger. A B5 Systems Bravo Stock and P23 Grip complete the adjustable, ergonomic configuration.

Shoots well , everything is staked properly on the bolt carrier castle nut staked as well . Good trigger excellent finish on the carrier.all in all a great rifle at a great price !

This is listed as a 223w 416r stainless barrel and the gun that shipped is a 556n regular nitrided barrel. The listing information is the main reason I ordered this, I would not have bought this had I known upfront it would come with a milspec barrel. Sure I got it within a few days of ordering
