Weatherby Mark V Weathermark .300 Win Mag Bolt Action Rifle

Any Hunter at one time...

Any Hunter at one time or another at least "toyed" with the idea of owning a Weatherby rifle. I went to one of the Big box stores and handled a Weathermark, Accumark and the standard Wood stock Mark 5. Holding and shouldering all 3 again and again for a while the Weathermark won hands down. Why and how this might be considered the "entry level"mark 5 is just plain silly. The Weathermark has the same accuracy standard of MOA with select ammo, a Super warrenty , a really nice trigger that is adjustable and breaks Very nice as the other wildly more expensive Mark 5's. It FEELS like a rifle and while not a light weight rifle which i do not care for anyways , settles down wonderfully when shouldered. The redesigned stock feels very very good. I think weatherby is the one company that has kept the best elements of yesteryear and thrown in some modern things and well, has made a Great rifle!! Buds gun shop allows you to Buy these beauty's and pay them off over 3 months so it doesnt bite so deep in the average hunters wallet all at once. Buds Gunshop is fair about the whole process in my opinion and yes i would buy from them again without a thought. Now the issue i have is picking the scope out of the myriad of excellent choices but rest assured this rifle deserves a great optic to match its full potential!
