Awesome, accurate...
Awesome, accurate rifle! This is my first 257 Wby rifle. I have been preparing to reload for this rifle, but after zeroing with the Weatherby select 100 gr Interlocks, it's hard to justify spending the time to reload. This ammo produces .4-.7" groups consistently. I really wanted this model for the custom stock, peak 44 accessories and most of all the threaded barrel to run my suppressor. With the suppressor the 257 Wby feels like a 243 Win. The picture of the steel target shows the 300 yard group with the rifle and Weatherby 100 gr ammo. The three shot group is located lower left. Two shots were in the same spot the last was less than an inch under them. (The two shots above are from my 300 Wby)
