I bought this rifle...
I bought this rifle for my daughter. She fell in love with it both for it's looks and how it felt upon shouldering. The wood is the best I've seen in a rifle at that price. To be honest, I think the gun feels really comfortable and in 243 the recoil is meaningless. The sub moa accuracy guarantee held up and as always Buds gave me no negatives.

I got this to be able...
I got this to be able to take my young step daughter deer hunting for the mentored youth program here in Montana. It works great for that and my wife likes it so much that when my step daughter isn't using it her mother uses it for gophers, coyotes and antelope. Fits them both really well and they love it. So if you are looking for a rifle for the women in your family to be able to shoot comfortably and accurately this is a great choice. I was able to get a load worked up for this in about two trips to the range as it shoots pretty much everything I tried through it really well. The load we settled on pushes a 100 grain bullet just under 2,900fps sub-moa at 100 yards and the recoil is still so nearly non-existent that her 11 year old can handle it with ease and enjoys shooting it. Highly recommend this rifle, Weatherby did an excellent job making a true gun designed entirely for women with this rifle.
