Product Overview
The Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 is a dependable bolt action rifle built around a 24-inch barrel and a gray synthetic Monte Carlo stock. Its blued metal finish, Griptonite pistol grip and forend inserts, and right-side palm swell provide practical handling in a durable field configuration. The adjustable match-quality two-stage trigger is creep free and can be adjusted down to 2.5 pounds. A three-position manual safety supports controlled operation, while the rifle is guaranteed to produce three-shot groups measuring .99 inch or less at 100 yards with specified Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. The rifle is chambered for .223 Remington and is also compatible with 5.56 NATO.
