The Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 Varmint Special is a precision-focused bolt-action rifle chambered in .22-250 Remington. Its cold hammer-forged 22-inch #3-contour barrel uses a 1:14-inch rifling twist and a recessed target crown to support consistent varmint and target performance. The Monte Carlo Griptonite composite stock combines a stable synthetic platform with a pistol grip, forend inserts, and a right-side palm swell. A match-grade adjustable two-stage trigger, three-position manual safety, enclosed bolt sleeve, and one-piece machined bolt complete the practical field configuration. The rifle carries Weatherby’s Sub-MOA Accuracy Guarantee when used with specified premium ammunition.
