I received the...
I received the Vanguard SMOA .308 a few weeks ago. After five trips to the range the accuracy is very pleasing. About half the groups come in under one inch, but so far I haven't been able to break under a half inch. It is fitted with Weatherby/Talley mounts and a Leupold scope with a Harris bipod. It is holding its' zero perfectly between trips. The trigger is another story…far and away the worst I have ever encountered. You never know whether it will go off on the first, second or third creep. All in all, its' accuracy offsets the criticism of the trigger and I expect to make plenty of use of it next fall. By the way, the stock is not black as the specifications said, but light colored as the picture showed.
