The Weatherby Vanguard Wilderness is a lightweight bolt-action rifle built for hunting in demanding conditions. Its hand-laminated carbon fiber composite Monte Carlo stock features a raised comb, full-length aluminum bedding plate, matte gel coat finish, and spiderweb accents. The 24-inch fluted, cold hammer forged barrel and renowned Vanguard action are finished in matte bead-blasted blue. An adjustable match-quality two-stage trigger, integral recoil lug, fully enclosed bolt sleeve, fluted one-piece bolt body, three-position safety, and hinged floorplate complete the practical hunting configuration. Weatherby backs the rifle with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee using Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.
