Whats not to like...
Whats not to like about the Winchester 1885 ? Great finish and fit. its' as good as any gun that I own and I have multiple Freedom Arms, S & W and a few English fine doubles ! Incredible value for the price paid as far as overall quality goes. I can't find any tool marks on it or any missed checkering points. No, I have not shot it yet but I expect it to be a shooter if the externals reflect what I expect to be a tack driver. \r \r For what its worth, I'm frustrated over waiting to get my hands on the new production of the as yet unavailable Winchester 1895 in 30-06 and .405 in the fixed barrel configuration. My 1895 (.405) in the take down configuration needs a partner(s).\r
