The Winchester Model 1873 Pistol Grip Sporter combines the handling of a classic lever-action rifle with refined traditional detailing. Chambered in .45 Colt, it features a 24-inch full octagon steel barrel with a polished blued finish, a color case hardened steel receiver, and a Grade II/III black walnut pistol grip stock with a smooth satin oil finish. The full-length tubular magazine holds 14 rounds. A semi-buckhorn rear sight and Marble Arms gold bead front sight provide a familiar sight picture, while the crescent metal buttplate and classic rifle-style forearm complete its period-inspired configuration.

The rifle itself looks...
The rifle itself looks flawless. This is also with a pistol grip. There was confusion online over whether this has a pistol grip or not. I was told by 3 separate Bud's employees that it did not have a pistol grip. I purchased it because of those statements, but it does in fact have one. The wood grain is excellent, the color hardened case and the octagon barrel are great additions to the rifle and make it look as classic as it can be.
