Initial impression is...
Initial impression is the rifle is very well made. All tolerances look correct and even (gaps on the side of the free floated barrel, wood to metal joints, etc.), also there are a lot of small touches I appreciate. Wood finish is excellent and bluing is above par with the majority of rifles being pushed out there these days. Seems to me they took their time with this rifle with design and execution and the small touches are what set it apart. The barrel boss with the foldable rear sight, the window in the front sight hood to allow light while still protecting the front sight post, and the bolt outside extractor really make it unique. In a world of plastic guns and questionable quality control I really fell in love with the old school solidness, look, and feel of it. I have not had a chance to take it to the range as of yet but I have no doubt accuracy will be in keeping with the rest of make of this gun. Bud's as always was excellent and shipping was very fast.
