This rifle is PERFECT...
This rifle is PERFECT in every respect. For all those "know-it-all" firearm experts that claim this rifle is manufactured in Portugal, you are dead wrong. It is "ASSEMBLED" in Portugal. All the main parts are manufactured right here in The United States, Made In America, period. The stock is a solid gorgeous American Walnut. This baby is pulling one inch groups with an "OPEN SIGHT" at 100 meters out of the box. She pulled dead on balls 1/2" groups with a Nikon scope sitting atop of a "Cold Shot Scope Mount." I would highly recommend magnaporting the barrel, (or a muzzle brake depending on preference) as she out-stomps a Cape Water Buffalo. The fit, finish, action, sighting, are all as close to perfect as this decades experienced shooter has ever had in his hands. I really don't believe they come any tougher, and more dependable than this. I'm truly in love with every aspect of this rifle, and recommend it with my 100% endorsement. What I enjoy the most is the bolt action. Her action is silky smooth, and yet while chambering, and ejecting cartridges, there is that quintessential solid feel of the bolt dropping solidly right into place. The safety is one of the finest on the market. I'm going on a brown bear hunt next year, and this is my most trust worthy companion.

I bought this 338 and...
I bought this 338 and also the 375. Both shoot awful. The 338 raises an inch with every shot. Bad stress relieving. I like the rifle but I will need to rebarrel it to salvage it. The 375 is a 2 inch group gun. I am very disappointed with both. Maybe the Portuguese are like the Mexicans and the siesta is all they think about all day. The idea I like but God Christ put out a good product
