Exactly what you would...
Exactly what you would expect from Winchester 70 quality. The fit and finish are great, the action is very smooth, accuracy is less than moa with the ammunition tested with so far, and the overall fit of the rifle is perfect. I believe the design of the rifle and the way it fits me results in the amount of noticed recoil but for a 375 H&H Mag the felt recoil on this one is not as much as I expected for this light of a rifle. I have an old Model Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag that seems to recoil as much as this one. Overall I love it and has quickly became my new favorite rifle. If you are in the toss up like I was of Winchester vs CZ 550 I don't think you could go wrong either way as they are both great...but I absolutely love my Winchester and I'd pick it again every time.

Whenever I buy online,...
Whenever I buy online, I am always worried and not sure what will come out of the box (condition). This is why I pay extra to ensure I don't end up with a process of return and exchange. Anyways, when box was opened, even transferring FFL was impressed with the flawless beauty of the rifle. It is very well designed control feed and 3 stage safety mechanism is un-parallel. I haven't shot it yet but I know it will be awesome because it feels so balanced in my hands.\r \r This is my third purchase with Buds and experience was as previous experiences. It just took very long to get it due to my choice of selecting ACH method of payment and shipping behind more than two weeks due to pandemic. Being out of state and then charge of Tax was unexpected and shouldn't be charged in my opinion.

I purchased a...
I purchased a Winchester model 70 Alaskan in 375 h&h when I received the rifle from my ffl i checked it out and didn't sea a thing wrong with it .when I got home I found that the cross bolts in the stock were loose so I found the proper allen wrench and snugged them up. I also found the trap door floor plate to be loose and I don't know how we will fix that. overall the rifle is excellent . I was happy with the overall layout of the rifle because it is almost exactly the same gun as my pre 64 model 70 in 300 h&h. the stock is finished in a dark collar which I am starting to like the more I look at it. after comparing it to my pre 64 I think it is close to the same finish.i have a post 64 in 300 win mag and it has a glossy finish and that was what I expected on this one bud it was way duller which is fine but when buying sight unseen you cant tell what it will be. all in all it is beautiful and shoots well. I grouped 4 shots in the bottom of a soup can at about 100 yrds with the iron sights write out of the box. be prepared for some recoil because it does have some. it kicks a little bit harder than my 300 wby in mark v weatherby but is manageable. thanks for letting me give a review on this rifle overall it is awesome and buds guns did what they said they would do. my overall buying experience was good thank you
