Controlled Round Feeding with the Pre-64-style claw extractor provides reliable cartridge control, while the recessed target crown protects the rifling. A factory muzzle brake helps manage recoil, and the three-position safety allows the bolt to be operated while the firing pin remains locked in its middle position. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, which are sold separately.
