\\r\ Very disappointed. I have 5 other Winchesters. 2 of them Model 70's. The fact that this rifle cannot pull off a 3 shot group under 3" at 100yards on sandbags is inexcusable. Other than the rant, I offer you the following:\\r\ \\r\ 1) 4.75 lb trigger pull. Says the trigger is adjustable but the holes are epoxied at the factory.\\r\ 2) Factory Bell & Carlson Stock. It would appear that a less than feeble attempt may have been made to bed the action. Or it's just a really crappy stock with gaps in the (would be pillar) hole for the rear action screw - leaving only the other screw to securely attached the stock to the rest of the gun.\\r\ 3) Trigger guard and bottom metal are made of aluminum\\r\ \\r\ Other specifics:\\r\ * Over 100 rounds through the gun, yes it did break the barrel in properly, factory and handloads. 4 separate range outings\\r\ * Leupold VX5HD 3-15x44 scope w/Leupold dove-tail rings and mounts, lapped, sealed and torqued to spec - laser bored sighted.\\r\ * Fired from a Caldwell BR with sandbags on a bench.\\r\ \\r\ Summary:\\r\ * Apparent that quality control is not a priority - per the shoddy stock.\\r\ * Borderline misleading statements like: (MOA, SS, Stainless) and dancing around the fact that the bottom metal which is the clamping force against the stock to the action is ALUMINUM and not Stainless Steel.\\r\ * The acronym "MOA" as a marketing term for the, just shy of 5 pound, trigger group. There is not a gun in the world that shoots "MOA" with a 5 lb trigger. And certainly this one at 4.75lbs.\\r\ \\r\ I will return this to the manufacturer and will hopefully have better news to report. Stay tuned!\\r\ \\r\ \\r\ \\r\ \\r\
