The Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather SS is a durable bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 7mm Remington Mag. Its Pre-64-style controlled-feed action uses a three-position safety, while the MOA Trigger System provides a crisp, factory-set pull of 3.75 pounds and user adjustment from 3 to 5 pounds. A cold hammer forged, fluted stainless steel barrel measures 26 inches and is free floated above an aluminum-bedded forged steel receiver. The Bell and Carlson synthetic stock has a textured charcoal gray finish for a secure hold in demanding weather, and the Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad helps make extended range sessions more comfortable. The hinged floorplate magazine holds 3 rounds. Scope is not included.
