I have wanted a...
I have wanted a Featherweight for quite a while, and finally decided to buy one. The fit and finish are great. The bluing is even and deep, and the barrel is free-floated for its entire length. The wood is unremarkable, but that flur-de-lis checkering is stunning. The one problem I experienced was that the rifle would not chamber the last two rounds. The bolt would not reach the head of the cartridge and push it forward. After quite a bit of tinkering, the follower spring was bent to bring up the back of the cartridge. All is well now, but it would have been nice if it came from the factory feeding reliably. On a very positive note, the rifle groups 140 grain ELD-X, and the new Nosler 140 grain Whitetail Hunter .75"-1.00" very consistently.

My rifle was received...
My rifle was received in great shape. I was a little worried about how stiff the safety was, I have an older Model 70 and two Ruger gunsight rifles the are very smooth. With a little oil and working it back and forth it's smoothed out. No getting scope rings was another matter. Two sets of Talley rings had to go back because the short screw was too short. I ordered some Leopold rings that are perfect. Rile is in 6.5 Creedmoor and shoots lights out. Very happy with my purchase.
